The HR Toolkit Forum
22 Sept 2010 | The Star Auditorium, Petaling Jaya

..........................................................................................................................

When was it?
The Forum was held 22 Sept 2010 and comprised 1 day forum.

What was the programme like?
A perennial issue that many of us in HR face is being left out of the strategic loop. Let’s face it – we are smart and we can be extremely effective. Yet, many of us know that, at our core, we are not able to embrace fully the role we should as the touchpoint of the organisation. We also realise that the organisation feels likewise about us.
We are more than the talent management system we manage and the sum of the responsibilities we hold.

But the question is never about what we are doing, but what we have to show for it.If you are struggling to find a fit, a niche and a focus for where you want to be, in your organisation – if you want to reclarify the role you play, let this programme be your starting point. You should be the indispensable force in the organisation, the one without whom, many crucial decisions cannot be made.

This Forum will give you a keyhole perspective of the different facets of business. It’s not your particular business of course, but it gives you an idea of the perspectives that the different business domains bring. Have you taken the time to consider things through the eye of your marketer? Do you really see where the bottom line impacts are? Can you see the vision the Chief Executive has and why?

Key themes covered include :-
Leading from the top !
Making Sense of the Numbers
Every Day is Deal Day !
Have I got Internal Marketing Right?
Why I need to manage Business Risk too !
Using Knowledge Management to enhance HR’s role
Have I Been Negotiating Effectively?

Who attended?
The Forum was well attended by a mix of HR professionals comprising Human Resource General Managers and Head of Human Resources as well as Senior Managers.
