Cagamas picks Kompakar for Strategic Human Capital Management System

14 Dec 2009 Kuala Lumpur | Cagamas Berhad (Cagamas), the National Mortgage Corporation and leading securitisation house, will be adopting Kompakar Inc Berhad’s (Kompakar) FlexHR, a comprehensive suite of human capital management (HCM) solution, to optimise its human capital capacity.

Commenting on the deployment of FlexHR, Mr Steven Choy, Cagamas’ President and Chief Executive Officer said, “At Cagamas, we view human capital as a key asset. We believe that the strong and continued commitment to the development of human capital will further strengthen the capacity and capability of Cagamas in its role as a development catalyst for the Malaysian capital market.

Cagamas selected Kompakar’s FlexHR because of the solution’s high reliability and alignment with its strategic HR initiatives to further strengthen the organisation. The solution provides the platform for the organisation to efficiently integrate human capital strategies and improvement effects with Cagamas’ goals.
The deployment of FlexHR is envisaged to support Cagamas as it continues to play a strong role in actively supporting the further development of the capital markets and financial sector in Malaysia.

FlexHR promotes both strategic KPI-based staff performance management and a comprehensive rewarding and talent management. With the solution’s superior, subordinate-peer review capability, the management team has the added ability to identifying and rewarding top performers; project the skill sets that are lacking or missing within the workforce and suggest the needed development actions such as training programmes.

Kompakar’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Ir Dr Ahmad Fikri said, “We are proud that Cagamas selected Kompakar’s FlexHR to help the organisation better manage their most valuable asset – their people.”

Today, human resources departments play a strategic role in managing the people resources of an organisation. “In this new role, human resources departments are responsible to automate administrative processes, communicate company’s strategies effectively and transparently, and provide on-demand insights into workforce performance,” Datuk Ir Dr Ahmad Fikri explained.

“With a team equipped with focused expertise and experience in the human capital management domain, we are confident in helping Cagamas capitalise on its human capital to lead the organisation forward.”
