Primary
Responsibilities include :-
1. Writing, editing, proofing, reporting and preparation of
quarterly content as assigned. This involves writing various
short and medium-length pieces for the magazine for both the
print and online edition as well as researching, copy-editing
and fact-checking as needed on materials. This also involves
approaching potential contributors to request article input
or coordinate interviews
2. Reviewing manuscripts, copy-editing, assembling photos,
writing captions and headlines
3. Proof-reading assigned copy during various stages of editorial
production, make editorial corrections
4. Coordinate with other staff and suppliers in daily work
requirements and based on production deadlines
5. Conduct interviews either over the phone, on email or in-person
as designated per interview. Coordinate and manage interviews,
research, surveys and results for special reports or for supplements
to articles
6. Acquire artwork and coordinate final selection. Assist
with obtaining photography/images that correspond with editorial.
7.
Create and update an ongoing list of public relations personnel
and media contacts. Assist in managing press releases/story
pitches/determination of future editorial
9. Assist in answering questions/concerns from our readers.
10. Handle administrative tasks for the Editorial Department,
including sending issue copies, preparing meeting materials,
mailings, and much more
Job Requirements:

One to two years experience on a newspaper or magazine editorial
staff preferred

Exceptional recent university graduate acceptable

Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related
field

Strong writing and communication skills

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with publishing tools and ability to work with
photo-editing and desktop publishing sofware is a plus.

MULTIMEDIA GRAPHIC
DESIGNER
Job/Internship type: Full-time.

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor DE Malaysia.
Primary Responsibilities include :-
Manage the HR Matters magazine print edition and its website.
The work will include flash design, some amount of animation,
graphic design work.
You will assist in the planning, composition and production
of graphics and other printed materials in a timely manner.
Job Requirements:
At least 2 years experience in managing flash design, animation,
graphic design,
corporate identity, other multimedia, typography and font
design.
Experience with CorelDraw, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator,
Flash is required.
