add a talented writing intern to our editorial team.
Location: Anywhere (telecommuting encouraged)
HR Matters Magazine is Malaysia’s leading human resource
publication. This is a chance to explore new ideas, expand
on interesting and innovative issues as well as talk to interesting
high calibre personalities and thought leaders. While the
magazine itself may be based in Malaysian, our content is
however, very international in outlook. We speak to a myriad
number of international practitioners, consultants and experts
in a number of subject matter areas. There is huge room for
growth for you if you take on a role like this.
As an editorial intern, you will assist the editorial department
with fact checking, research, evaluation of unsolicited manuscripts
as well as writing. Depending on experience and interest,
you may also be conducting interviews and interview preparation.
This unpaid internship can be full or part time and has the
potential to convert into a full time career by proving yourself
and delivering results. The more you contribute, the more
responsibility we will give you. We are results oriented and
you have the ability to telecommute or work from home.
· Degree in Journalism, English, Business Administration,
Marketing, Communications, Law or related field is preferred
· 1-2 years experience in copywriting is preferred
but not necessary
· Proficient with Google search, social media platforms
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong online research skills and proven time management
skills to meet deadlines on time
· Strong work ethic and attention to detail
· Ambition to learn, share ideas openly and take direction
· Proficient using Microsoft Word

Primary Responsibilities include :-
Manage the HR Matters magazine print edition and its website.
The work will include flash design, some amount of animation,
graphic design work.
You will assist in the planning, composition and production
of graphics and other printed materials in a timely manner.
At least 2 years experience in managing flash design, animation,
corporate identity, other multimedia, typography and font
Experience with CorelDraw, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator,
Flash is required.
