Outstanding contributions recognised at Asia HRD Congress Awards

Kuala Lumpur— The 10th Asia HRD Congress was recently held from the 19th- 20th April 2011 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and it was followed by the Asian HRD Congress Awards Ceremony. The Award is meant to honour outstanding contributions towards people development across the world.

The Congress itself which included two days of Conference and an exhibition welcomed more than 500 delegates and 50 exhibitors from 30 countries. The theme of this year's Congress was 'creating value through people development' and attracted speakers such as Sam Silverstein, Dr Sivasailam Thiagarajan, Aminudin Hashim, Rajeev Peshawaria and Steve Donahue.

The awards ceremony which was held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Kuala Lumpur is held yearly in different countries and recognises awardees for initiatives which have brought about significant changes in the categories below :-

  • organisation
  • HR community

The winners at the 2011 Awards are :-
